Elmire, Spring Green

This design is part of the collection inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson, an iconic and beloved Swedish design family active in the 19th century. The design duo still inspires the whole world with their artistry, their home, and their way of living. In the Larsson's household, every occasion was worth celebrating, preferably with a costume party! In the painting "Congratulation" (Gratulation), Karin is being celebrated by the Nix and his children. It’s Carl’s summer model Elmire who is dressed up as the Nix together with her friends Suzanne and Helga. Together, they celebrate Karin on her name-day with garlands of yellow water-lilies.
