Hildasholm - Blue

Inspired by the Leksand manor house of the same name, Hildasholm is shown here in glue print with a white pattern on a light blue background. The society doctor Axel Munthe gave the manor house to his wife Hilda as a wedding gift, and on the grounds Hilda later created a magnificent Arts and Crafts garden.

Daylilies, peonies, poppies and other plants appear in orderly symmetry yet with untamed vitality. Hildasholm offers an irresistible combination of wildness and order, just like Hilda’s garden.
